San Francisco Accordion Club March 2011 Musical Meeting

March Musical Meeting-

This was our club's first trial of having a "jam band" before the meeting, and it was very successful, thanks to the organizational efforts and song books provided by Barbara and Vic Corsiglia.

Randy and Val played three duets, including use of the button box on a couple of them; and Val played one solo on button box. Ron Harris is always a special pleasure to hear. The popular Trio Davidé, who perform in San Francisco, includes Dave Baioni, nephew of SFAC founder the late Rusty Bartoli. We were fortunate that they could perform for us. AbsolutAccord, led by Richard Yaus, is a very disciplined group playing very appealing music with precision. This was definitely one of our best shows and was very well received by those who braved the inclement weather to attend.
